AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM

With experience in manufacturing Air Induction Systems, WCM oversee the production of a number of parts relating to the an air intake duct system at the top of the roof liner of a luxury series vehicle

The Air Induction System which WCM delivers feeds air down the turbo inlet, passing fresh air through a filtration system. WCM manufacture the filters that form part of the system though a combination of pressed metal, the use of specialist NVH foam and injection moulding.

Once air has circulated through the filtration system and turbo inlet it is then fed through the exhaust. The ducting that feeds airflow between the air intake areas and the turbo inlet is produced by WCM through a series of blow mouldings. In total, the air induction system is incorporated into 375 vehicles per year.
