Refrigerator Assembly

As part of the release of the Bentley Mulsanne vehicle, WCM assists in the delivery of the rear cabinet refrigeration unit and drinks cabinet, complete with glass holder stowed in the lower cubby area

WCM produce a number of parts included in the refrigeration assembly including all visible chromed metal framework. Working with partners who supply the inner workings of the unit, WCM oversee the fully assembly process of the fridge, fixing all mechanical workings into each unit. A full testing process is then carried out to ensure the luminence and door movement work correctly and meet all stipulated quality requirements, i.e acoustics.

WCM supply around 500 vehicles per year with the fridge assembly, all completed ready for line fit with the customer. The parts that WCM produce for fitment to the assembly are CNC machined and chromed to provide a high quality surface finish. Each part is handled within a dedicated Clean Assembly area within WCM setup to oversee the delivery of the project. Testing procedures are also conducted on the same site as Clean Assembly facilities.
